Defender Crystal Palace Mamadou Saho said that in his handshake with Christian Benteke after the goal of the Belgian in the gate of Liverpool there is nothing disrespectful.
Palas defeated Klopp's away team 2-1 away thanks to the double of former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke.
After one of the goals, Benteke ran to Saho, whose rights belong to Liverpool, and shook his hand.
Many claimed that in this way Saho sent some hidden message to Klopp, but the Frenchman said:
"When Christian scored, I stayed because I did not want to celebrate as a sign of respect for the club I belong to and to the fans".
"But when he came up to me, I got up and did what we always do - a friendly handshake".
"There is no hidden meaning in this. Just two friends play for one team and are fighting for one goal - to score three points to help the team stay in the Premier League ".
Five games before the end of the season Crystal Palace is located in 12th place in the Premier League standings, breaking away from the relegation zone by 7 points.
