Ex-striker Shakhtar Sergei Atelkin believes Gornyakov favorite game with the Dnieper, but I'm sure that the Dnipro will have a good motivation in the form of European competition.

Atelkin remembered the final of the 1995 Ukrainian Cup between Shakhtar and the Dnieper, when the Miners first won this trophy.

"In 1995, we became the first owners of the Cup of Ukraine. In the final, the favorite was the Dnieper, for which a banquet was ordered in advance and letters of commendation were signed. We were not weaker in composition, but at that time were not in the best shape. However, they showed themselves well, conceding along the way, equalized the score and got a psychological advantage. That match was pulled by Dima Shutkov, who saved at the outputs one on one and parried the seventh stroke in the penalty shootout ", - recalls Atelkin.

"Today's Dnipro is not at its place in the table due to the removal of points, but to win the Cup and get into the European Cup - a chance for the team. The advantage will be on the side of the Miner. It is a club-maximalist with the task of winning every tournament, and there can not be any relaxation.

Moreover, the Miners have more time to recover and in general experience ".

It should be noted that even in the event of a victory in the Ukrainian Cup, the Dnipro will not be admitted to the European Cup because of violations of the financial fair play. Dneprians will be forced to skip one draw of the Europa League (or the Champions League) if they make their way there following this and the next two seasons.

The meeting between the miner and the Dnieper will be held on April 26 in Kharkov.
