In early March, the General Director of Gornyakov Sergey Palkin proposed to change the rules of the ULP in the next season.

"As early as last year, it was decided that the ULP format would imply 12 teams, not 10, 16, 18 or 20. Now the main thing is to determine exactly how it will be, "said Geninson.

"That proposal, which we have on hand from the club Shakhtar, in principle, suits all the coaches, representatives and owners of the club, with whom we communicate.

It will be slightly improved and passed on the vote ".

"The format implies that after the first part of the championship there will be a division into sixes. Between the top and bottom six will compete for a place in European competition, so that the intrigue was preserved until the very end, "- added the president.
