Deniz Aitekin, who served Barcelona's victory over PSG with a score of 6: 1, may be suspended from work because of his mistakes at the Camp Nou.

The fate of Aytekina will be decided by the head of the UEFA judging committee Pierluigi Collina, who is appointed judge for the matches of the Champions League and the League of Europe.

And, according to Marca, the German referee may no longer receive appointments for the Champions League matches this season due to mistakes he made in the return match of the 1/8 finals between Barcelona and PSG.

UEFA will not severely punish Aitekin, however, he may be downgraded to serve matches of a lower profile, or generally dismissed for a certain period.
