Goalkeeper Stoke City Jack Batland confirmed that he was fully recovered after a serious injury.
"The surgeon is very pleased with the condition of my ankle, the fracture has fully healed! It was a terrible year, but finally I heard the news that I had waited so long! Now I can put on gloves and return to the field," wrote Batland on Twitter.
Goalkeeper broke his ankle in a match against Germany in March 2016. Initially it was expected that he would recover by the beginning of the current season, but because of a series of relapses his return was postponed all the time.
