The Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Andrei Novitsky (15-0, 11 KOs) expressed his opinion about the future fight with the compatriot Vladislav Sirenko (22-0, 19 KOs).
Novitsky said that his team offered the battle of Sirenko.
" We offered him a duel three weeks ago - he refused. Two weeks later we had another opponent, but he also starred. And suddenly - a surprise: Sirenko agreed. Accepted the battle - answer for it.
I am in the pros for only two years, but I'm not just here. I am not afraid of anyone, I go ahead, and everyone who will become on my way is just the next step. So get ready. Take popcorn and do not blink - the spectacle will be tough, ”said Novitsky for Ruthless Fighters.
The battle between Ukrainian heavyweights will be held on July 19 as part of the Andercard Revenge between the WBC, WBO, WBA and Ibo-weight champion Alexander Usik (23-0, 14 KOs) and the IBF title Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KO).
As you know, Novitsky conducted his last battle in May of this year, knocking out in the first round of Peruvian David Zegarru. In his previous match in October 2024, Sirenko won an early victory in the fourth round over American Brandon Karmak.
Recall that earlier Sirenko called the best boxer in heavyweight.
