The winner of the WBO title in the first welterweight of Theofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 KO) will hold his next battle in an unusual place.

According to The Ring, a boxing show, the main event of which will be the duel of the American champion, should be held in the famous Alkatrase prison, which is now functioning as a museum near San Francisco, California, USA.

They plan to organize a boxing evening in June or July, and the rival of the American will be named later.

The return of Lopez will be the first of the three battles that he will conduct together with the promotional company Top Rank.

The nearest match will take place under the auspices of The Ring, and two more - within the Riyadh Season. The head of the Saudi Arabia General Directorate on Entertainment, the Turkish Al Ash-Sheikh, will take up the organization of these events.

Recall that Lopez conducted his last battle in June last year, defeating the unanimous decision of the judges over Steve Clagggett.
