Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin shared his opinion on Dereck Chisora’s performance in the fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

According to Wallin, the British boxer showed an aggressive fight, which allowed him to inflict damage on the Ukrainian.

“Chisora performed very well against Usyk and gave him a tough fight. Derek fought in his own style: he walked forward, was aggressive and threw punches. In the end, Usik won, but it was a very good fight.

Then Usik had just risen to heavyweight; before that he had only fought one fight there. He probably adapted to the heavyweight division. I think Usyk has improved, but you can’t take anything away from Chisora: he put up a very good fight with Alexander,” Wallin said in an interview with the YouTube channel Two Sides.

In October 2020, Usyk defeated Chisora by unanimous decision..

Previously, Wallin assessed Dubois' victory over Joshua.
