Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin shared his opinion on the defeat of his former opponent Anthony Joshua in the fight against IBF world champion Daniel Dubois.
According to Wallin, he was surprised that Dubois defeated his compatriot.
" To be honest, I was betting on Joshua to win by knockout. I knew it was very powerful and hit very hard.
Dubois took a lot of punches in the fight with Hrgovic, so I thought that if Joshua could hit him with such punches, then Daniel would be knocked out.
We must give Du Bois credit. He did a very good job against Joshua. So I think Daniel is getting better,” Wallin said in an interview with YouTube channel Two Sides.
In September, Dubois knocked out Joshua in the fifth round.
Previously, Wallin praised the rematch between Usik and Fury.
