Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has spoken out about the timing of a potential fight against another former division title holder, Tyson Fury..

According to the British boxer, he hopes that this fight will take place this year.

" People talk about him all the time. As a fighter I want to succeed and to do that I need to take on big fights.. Against Fury is one of them.

This fight should take place this year, especially since we have the support of His Excellency. I also have a promoter like Eddie Hearn and an amazing group of managers behind me.. I think that without any problems we can arrange this fight this year,” Joshua said in a commentary to TNT Sports Boxing.

Note that Joshua also explained why he was going to fight Fury..
