Russian Daria Nepryaeva stole the skis of German athlete Katharina Henning Dotzler during a race at the 2026 Olympics..

Commentator Vitaly Volochai reported this during a live broadcast on “Suspilna Sport”:.

“Nepryaeva came to the pit stop and stole the German woman’s skis. I'm not kidding. Russian Nepryaeva, who competes here without a flag, an anthem, without honor, without anything, came to the pit stop, stole the German woman’s skis and went to the track,” Volochai said.

This happened during a 50 km marathon while changing skis.. The 23-year-old Russian was supposed to enter the box number 14, but instead put on skis in the Henning Dotzler box number 12.

In the race itself, the “neutral” Russian woman finished in 11th place, and Henning Dotzler was ninth. Such a mistake could lead to the disqualification of the Russian athlete.

Let us remind you that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) banned the Russian flag and any other national symbols of the occupying country at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.

It is worth noting that 13 Russian athletes were allowed to participate in the 2026 Games in a neutral status, which is a historical anti-record for the Russian Federation.

Earlier it was reported that at the 2026 Olympics, Europeans were awarded medals that were taken from the Russians.
