The Football Association of England (FA) can disqualify Ukrainian Mikhail Mudrik, even in the case of a negative sample of B, writes journalist Ben Jacobs. At the same time, Chelsea midfielder still remains in the club’s application to the UEFA conferences league, despite the temporary detachment.

The sample b, taken simultaneously with breakdown A, is checked not only for meldonium, but also for other substances. However, even if it turns out to be negative, FA has the right to bear the punishment on the basis of one positive test a. In this case, the disqualification period will probably be reduced.

If the test B confirms the presence of a prohibited substance, the standard punishment is a four -year disqualification if the athlete does not prove that there was a mistake or the intervention of third parties.

Mudrik denies the intentional use of doping. However, anti -doping rules impose full responsibility for athletes for substances that enter their body.

Recall that Mudrik handed over a positive doping test after one of the matches at the end of October last year, after which he stopped falling into the application of his club. Meldonia traces were found in his body.

Mikhail himself confirmed that the test showed the presence of a prohibited substance. Our compatriot said that he was shocked by the results, because he never used doping. It also became known that Mudrik was removed from training at a club base in Kobham.

According to media reports, Meldonius fell into the body of Mikhail Mudrik through an injection that he was made in the Ukrainian national team.
