Ukrainian skaters Sofia Golichenko and Artem Daransky perfectly performed at the European Figure Skating Championship, which from January 28 to February 2 is held in Estonia. Their rental for the composition of Cosmic Love of the Florence and The Machine group caused real delight among the audience gathered in the arena in Tallinn.

After their arbitrary program, our compatriots set a personal record for points and demonstrated a high level of skill, which did not go unnoticed in the arena.

This was the third participation of 20-year-old Sofia and 23-year-old Artem at the European Championship. At the beginning of the competition, the Dnieper performed in a short program and scored 56.73 points, which allowed them to go to the next stage and get into the number of participants in an arbitrary program.

In the final, the Ukrainian couple showed an outstanding result - 108.22 points in an arbitrary program. This result was a personal record of the duet, including 56.67 points for equipment and 52.55 for setting the program.

The final result-164.95 points-allowed them to take 11th place, which was a repetition of their best achievement at European championships. The tournament champions were skaters from Germany Minerva Fabien Gaza and Nikita Volodin.
