PGMOL officially supported the removal of Miles Lewis-Square, writes Sky Sports.

Recall that in the 43rd minute of the match between Arsenal and Wolverhampton, Lewis-Skelly fouled Matt Doherty and received a straight red card from Michael Oliver.

The sending off caused a great stir in Britain, many experts spoke out in support of the defender, declaring the episode an error by the referee and VAR.

However, PGMOL sided with Oliver. After a careful review of the episode, the panel concluded that the attempt to return the ball was made extremely late, the point of contact was high.

The organization also condemned the multiple insults directed at Michael Oliver after the match..

Earlier it was also reported that Newcastle did not intend to sell their best striker.
