The legendary Wladimir Klitschko (64-5-0-1, 54 KOs) is preparing to return to the ring to once again become the world heavyweight champion. The Ukrainian boxer wants to resume his career in order to break George Foreman's record and become the oldest belt holder in history.

The long-time manager of our compatriot Tom Leffler spoke about this in an interview with the ESNEWS YouTube channel.. According to him, 48-year-old Klitschko Jr. is in excellent physical shape and is capable of making a real splash in the royal division.

" He is 48 years old, will be 49 in March. If anyone can do it, it's Vladimir. I didn't talk to him. Of course, he won't fight Usyk. He has an open case with Fury, but he has once again retired. Let's see what happens. Vladimir is in excellent shape. I would like to see him in the ring again,"

The desire to organize a comeback for Klitschko Jr. was expressed by the Chairman of the General Directorate of Entertainment in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al ash-Sheikh, who is ready to provide the boxers with large fees.

Klitschko fought his last fight in April 2017, when he lost by TKO to Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs). Before that, he lost by unanimous decision to Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs). The Ukrainian and the Briton were supposed to have a rematch, but Klitschko’s opponent abandoned it and vacated all the belts.

Recently, Vladimir broke the silence about his return. In addition, it became known that Alexander Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) could contribute to his compatriot’s comeback to the professional ring.
