Belgian Gent announced the signing of a contract with Alexander Soroka.
The 18-year-old Ukrainian is a graduate of Donetsk Shakhtar, but with the outbreak of a full-scale war he left for Europe.
The contract with Gent was the first professional one in Soroka’s career, the agreement runs until 2027.
" He is able to set the tempo of the match and is making good steps forward this season,” said head coach Thomas Matton.
Alexander also has nine matches for the youth national teams of Ukraine, in which he scored one goal.
Earlier it was also reported that Borussia sold its player to the Premier League club.
