Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia never demanded a transfer from the club management, claims Geo Team.
An account specializing in information about Georgian players claims that the reason for Kvaratskhelia’s departure from Napoli is completely different.
The footballer asked management to give him a new contract with an appropriate salary, but was refused. The fact is that after moving to the Italian club, Khvicha never received a salary increase.
Currently the best player in Serie A for the 2022/23 season and one of the best wingers in Europe has one of the lowest salaries at the club.
Of course, the player would like to receive according to his contribution, and it was PSG who agreed to satisfy Khvichi’s requests.
But Antonio Conte, saying that Khvicha asked to sell him, simply decided to protect the club. Because if he said that Napoli refuses to raise the salary of their best player, it would be a blow to the image of the Neapolitans. That’s why they decided to put all the blame on the Georgian.
It was previously reported that Kvaratskhelia agreed on a substantial contract with PSG.
