Oleksandr Kucher resigned as head coach of Dnipro-1. The 40-year-old Ukrainian specialist announced this at a press conference after the match of the 4th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) against Obolon. The Dnipro club suffered a sensational defeat from the Brewers with a score of 1:2. " I'm resigning along with the coaching staff. I take the blame for the results that we show lately. Thank you all," Kucher headed Dnepr-1 since the beginning of last season. He led the team to the silver medals of the Ukrainian championship, which also gave the Dnipro team their debut in the Champions League qualification. The beginning of the current season turned out to be unsuccessful for Dnipro-1.
