On August 18-20, matches of the 4th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2023/24 season will be held. It started with two fights on Friday: Cherkasy LNZ lost at home to Zhytomyr Polesye, while Luhansk Zorya and Oleksandriya did not determine the strongest. On Saturday Veres Rivne will play against Vorskla Poltava at its own stadium, Metalist 1925 Kharkiv will play against Minay, and Rukh Lviv will play against Kolos Kovalovski.. The tour will end with three matches on Sunday: Dnipro-1 will face Obolon from the capital, Dynamo Kyiv will visit Chornomorets Odessa, and Shakhtar Donetsk will play an away game with Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih. After the 3rd round, the UPL table is headed by Rukh (9 points). Kolos and Shakhtar are in second and third places (7 points each), Dynamo are in fourth place (6 points, game in hand).

Matches of the 5th round of the UPL will be held on August 26-28. The 2023/24 Premier League season features 16 clubs competing in two rounds.
