Zhytomyr " Polesie opened the scoring in Cherkasy in the 51st minute thanks to the efforts of Arielson. And two minutes later the Zhytomyr club remained in the minority - the second yellow card was received by Vladislav Shapoval. Despite the game with ten men, the guests were able to double their advantage - Bogdan Kushnirenko scored in the 83rd minute. Two minutes before the end of the regular time of the meeting, the LNZ managed to close the gap in the score - Sergey Shestakov scored, but the hosts were no longer able to escape from defeat. After this victory, Polissya (6 points) moved up to eighth place in the UPL standings.. LNZ has three points and 11th position. In the next round of the Ukrainian Championship, Polesie will meet with Oleksandriya, and LNZ will play against Metalist 1925. Both matches will take place on August 26.
