In the second half, the reigning champions of England brought the matter to defeat. In the 76th minute, Rodri scored with an accurate shot. The newcomer of the new season of the Premier League had to finish the match in the minority - in the 90+4th minute, Anass Zaruri received a direct red card.

Note that a good start to the season for Josep Guardiola's team was eclipsed by an injury to Kevin De Bruyne.
