Myron Markevich has been appointed as the new head coach of Karpaty, the press service of the Lviv team reports..

Markevych is a legendary Ukrainian coach. The mentor managed to train Karpaty, Volyn, Podolia, Kryvbas, Metalurh Zaporizhya, Anji, Metalist, Dnipro and the Ukrainian national team.

In 2015, Dnipro under the leadership of Myron Markevich played in the final of the Europa League, where they lost to the Spanish Sevilla.

Also, with Dnipro, Metalist and Karpaty, the specialist won bronze and silver awards of the Ukrainian championship.

Since 2016, Markevich has not worked as a coach, heading the committee of the UAF national teams until 2021.
