The final match of the 2023 Ice Hockey World Championship between Canada and Germany took place in Tampere (Finland).
The Germans failed to create another sensation after defeating the USA - the Canadians defeated the Europeans with a score of 5: 2.

Team Canada won the World Cup for the 28th time in its history, which is a tournament record. Germany won their third silver medal after finishing second at the 1930 and 1953 World Cups.
