In the 76th minute, Lviv defender Sergei Siminin scored an own goal, and in the 84th minute, Rukh striker Vasily Runich scored the second goal into the opponent's goal.
After this defeat, Lviv (13 points), three rounds before the end of the championship, took the last place in the UPL ahead of schedule, losing the mathematical chances of maintaining a residence permit in the elite division. The last two clubs at the end of the UPL season will go down in class, their places will be taken by the two best teams of the First League (Kyiv Obolon and Zhytomyr Polissya).
