The Ukrainian Olympic Sports Federations and the NOC of Ukraine agreed on the text of the appeal to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on the possible return of athletes from Russia and Belarus to world sports.

The letter notes that " Suspension can be lifted only after the end of the war of Russia with the support of Belarus against Ukraine.

Given the above, we adhere to the position, as long as the Russian armed aggression continues, we do not see the possibility of the return of Russian and Belarusian athletes to international competitions.

We ask you to support our position and uphold the recommendation of the Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee dated February 28, 2022 on the non-admission of athletes from Russia and Belarus to international competitions until the end of the armed aggression in Ukraine"

Preliminary signatures under the letter were put by representatives of all sports, except for the Tennis Federation of Ukraine. Ukrainian tennis players play in tournaments with Russians and Belarusians who enter the court under a neutral flag by decision of the WTA and ATP.
