As Dmitry himself said, he was preparing for battle in the basement. " In general, I serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and they didn’t let me go to battle. I was able to leave only 10 days before it, although I knew about the fight for several months. And so, accordingly, I couldn’t leave, I couldn’t prepare properly, because as part of the Armed Forces I was constantly at formations, exercises, and the like.

I trained like Rocky Balboa - in the basement, hit the guys with my bare hands, ran," Debut fight in Bellator became difficult for Gritsenko. Already in the opening round, the fighters exchanged strong blows.

In general, Dmitry was better than his opponent in accurate shots, and also, if possible, controlled him on the ground. As a result, Gritsenko won by unanimous decision of the judges - 30:27, 29:28, 29:28.

Recall that in the main fight of the evening, Amosov defeated American Logan Storley and defended his Bellator welterweight title..
