Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) extended contracts with two head coaches of national teams.

This is stated on the official website of the UAF.

The youth team (U-21) will continue to be coached by Ruslan Rotan, who recently took charge of Oleksandria. The new contract will be valid until the end of Euro 2023.

The contract provides for an automatic extension option until the end of the 2024 Olympics. It will be activated if Ukraine U-21 can get Olympic licenses at the European Championship.

At the youth Euro 2023, Ukraine U-21 will play in group B, where Romania, Spain and Croatia will become opponents. The tournament will take place from June 21 to July 8.

Also, the UAF decided to continue cooperation with the head coach of the youth team of Ukraine U-19 Serhiy Nagornyak until July 31, 2023. Nagornyak also combines work in the national team with the club. He heads the team of the First League of Ukraine "

Under the leadership of Nagornyak, the Ukrainian U-19 team finished in first place in their group of the qualifying round for the selection of Euro 2023. The first line in the " Euro 2023 elite qualifying round to take place from 22 to 28 March.
