“It’s not for you to do procuration in the Lavra”: Berinchyk brought the championship belt to the front line

Ukrainian lightweight boxer Denis Berinchyk decided to support the Ukrainian military on the front line. EBU European Champion title holder visits Toretsk in Donetsk region upon his return to Ukraine.

The boxer handed over various equipment to the defenders of Ukraine, and also showed his championship belt. On his Instagram page, Berinchyk showed a joint photo with the military.



One of them thanked the boxer for the visit, comparing him with Vasily Lomachenko, who recently published a photo from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, on which he bakes proskury.

“It’s not for you to do procuration in the Lavra… Thank you, Denis Berinchyk, for moving in, for nothing that you don’t forget and support,” wrote the military.

Berinchyk has 17 wins (9 by knockout) in 17 fights in the professional ring.

The last time the Ukrainian entered the ring last week, December 3. He defeated France's Ivan Mendy by unanimous decision to win the EBU European Championship..
