" What I know is that armed people lived at the Olympic base. And they lived there for a very long time.. There is nothing left of the base inside, everything is broken and plundered there. Naturally, no one follows the fields. For a certain period we supported our club employees who were in Donetsk.

They watched the lawns, they watched the stadium. For a very long time we paid them an allowance so that they could survive in those conditions.. Supported them for 5 years, probably. And then people left, and we realized that nothing good would happen there. Now in that place there is practically a wasteland with abandoned fields and buildings.. As for the office, it was also occupied by the same people. They took away everything that lay badly. There is complete chaos,"

Recall that Olimpik was founded on June 15, 2001 in Donetsk.. In the 2013/2014 season, the Donetsk team won the First League and advanced to the Premier League.

With the outbreak of hostilities in the Donbass in the spring of 2014, the club moved from Donetsk to Kyiv.

On July 8, 2021, club president Vladislav Gelzin announced the removal of Olimpik from the Ukrainian championship and the suspension of activities, however, the club was later transferred to new management and declared to participate in the First League, where he spent another six months, after which he was disbanded.
