A tense duel ended with a strong-willed victory for the Ukrainians with a score of 3:2.

The Portuguese team managed to take the lead in the first minute of the match. At the start of the second half, Ukraine equalized the score thanks to the efforts of Miroslava Vypasnyak, but six minutes later our team's opponents regained the lead.

In the final period, the wards of Yuriy Klymenko managed to turn the tide of the meeting.

First, Anastasia Klipachenko equalized the score for the second time, and then Vypasnyak scored a double and brought the “blue-yellow” victory.

Due to the fact that in another match Spain beat England (2:0), the Ukrainians reached the Euroleague 2022 semi-finals, and also won a ticket to the 2023 European Games in Krakow.
