Ukrainian tennis player Daria Snigur entered the main draw of the US Open. Snigur defeated Japanese Nao Hibino in the final of the qualification.

Tennis players spent 1 hour and 12 minutes on the court. During this time, the Ukrainian once filed right through, did not allow a single double fault and converted five out of 11 break points.

At the start of the tournament, Snigur will meet with expert world racket Simona Halep (WTA 7). The representative of Romania has the championship of Wimbledon-2019 and Roland Garros-2018 in its assets.

Angelina Kalinina, Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremskaya and Lesya Tsurenko will also play in the main draw of the tournament.

The US Open will take place from August 29 to September 11, 2022.

Marta Kostyuk won the quarterfinals, but withdrew from the WTA 250 hard tournament in Granby.
