On Thursday, August 25, Dnipro-1 played the second match in the playoffs of the Europa League 2022/23 season away against the Cypriot club AEK from Larnaca.

The first fight took place in Slovakia and was nominally home for Dnipro. Wards of Oleksandr Kucher were defeated with a score of 1:2.
