A Ukrainian athlete who escaped from the occupation in the Kherson region won a medal at the European Championship

Ukrainian athlete Andriy Protsenko won a bronze medal in the high jump at the 2022 European Multisport Championships in Munich.

Ukrainian on the first attempt conquered height 2. 27 m. Silver medalist Tobias Pottier showed a similar result, but the German spent fewer attempts to conquer the bar at a height of 2. 23 m. Gold was won by Italian Gianmarco Tamberi with a score of 2. 30 m.
