Thus, the two-time NBA champion in the Los Angeles Lakers decided to part with his memorable trophies in order to help Ukrainian children during the war with Russian invaders and restore sports infrastructure in destroyed and damaged Ukrainian schools.

Medvedenko announced the end of the auction on his Facebook page.

" In total, we raised a little over $250,000, and this is an excellent result.. $250,000 for Ukraine. Plus 50 thousand dollars a night. Many tried to dissuade me, but I do not regret for a second.

It was all worth it, and further we are waiting for the implementation of many initiatives and saving the lives of Ukrainian children.
