The Ukrainian national basketball team will play in a friendly tournament in Turkey from August 10 to 15.

This was reported by the Basketball Federation of Ukraine.

The national team will be in Istanbul to prepare for the August qualification matches for the 2023 World Cup, as well as for the EuroBasket 2022, which will be held in September.

At a friendly tournament, Ukrainian basketball players will play against the reigning European champion team of Slovenia, as well as the national teams of Turkey and Poland.

In addition, later Ukraine will play in Helsinki against Finland.

It is worth noting that all rivals of the Ukrainian national team in test matches will play in the final part of the European Championship, and all teams, except Poland, continue to fight in the selection for the 2023 World Cup.
