The 20-year-old played for Mariupol last season and played five matches for the team.

The Odessa club reported that Plaksa was in Mariupol and managed to survive under the shelling of the Russian invaders:.

" Since March 5, the guy was considered missing.. He and his sister spent a whole month in the city under shelling without water, gas and electricity.. Only on March 25 they managed to leave.

Circumstances miraculously developed: a car was found at the neighbors, 5 liters of gasoline. And managed to pass enemy checkpoints - 18 times!

Rodion spent another month in no less dangerous Berdyansk. His father still lives in the Donetsk region, which is on the front line.

Now a young man in Odessa. We are incredibly happy to welcome him to our city.. We hope that the team and fans will be able to create a warm atmosphere for him, in which his talent and skills will be revealed in full force"
