President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach visited Ukraine.
This was announced by the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vadym Gutzeit on Facebook..
Bach, in the company of Gutzeit and the head of the NOC of Ukraine, Serhiy Bubka, visited one of the training bases where athletes are trained, as well as the Avangard sports complex partially destroyed by Russian missiles.
The head of the IOC saw with his own eyes the destruction of sports infrastructure by Russian troops, and also met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
