In the women's singles of the Grand Slam tournament, Ukraine will be represented by four tennis players - Angelina Kalinina, Dayana Yastremska, Marta Kostyuk and Lesya Tsurenko.

Kalinina (No. 36 WTA) makes her Wimbledon main draw debut against Anna Bondar of Hungary (No. 62 WTA).

The first opponent of Yastremska (No. 74 WTA) will be Romanian Ana Bogdan (No. 109 WTA) Kostyuk (No. 79 WTA) will face British Cathy Swan (No. 223 WTA) in the first round Tsurenko (No. 114 WTA) will play with another representative in the opening round match.

We add that if Kalinina and Tsurenko pass the first round of the competition, then in the next round they will meet each other.

Recall that Wimbledon became the first international tennis tournament to ban Russians and Belarusians from participating in individual competitions.. The tournament will take place from June 27 to July 10 in the London suburb of Wimbledon..

This decision was not supported at all by international tennis organizations - ATP, WTA and ITF. They have decided not to count tennis players' rating points for their performance at Wimbledon..
