Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina became the ambassador of the United24 platform, which was created to help Ukrainians in the fight against Russian military aggression.

The athlete held an online meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, platform coordinator Yaroslava Gres and Ukrainian football legend Andriy Shevchenko, who previously became the first ambassador of United24.

" I have always been proud that I am Ukrainian. Today, when my country is facing a terrible enemy, I will not stand aside.

I will do everything possible so that Ukraine gets its most important victory in the struggle. It is an honor for me to join United24 and join forces with the President of Ukraine,"

United24 was created to raise money that will be used to support Ukraine. In the first month of the platform's operation, more than $50 million was raised.
