Teams of Finland and Canada will meet in the final match of the world championship in the elite division.

In the semi-finals, the Finns beat the USA with a score of 4:3 (1:1, 2:1, 1:1). And the Canadians defeated the Czech Republic - 6:1 (1:1, 3:0, 2:0).

The final will take place on Sunday, May 29, starting at 20:20 Kyiv time. The match for bronze between the teams of the USA and the Czech Republic will also be played on May 29, but at 14:

It is interesting that Finland and Canada will play each other for the third time in the final of the Ice Hockey World Championship.

Last year, the gold medals went to Canadians who defeated Finland in a shootout - 3:2. And in 2019, the Finns beat Canada in the final with a score of 3:1.
