On the same day, when it became known about the death from enemy shelling in Mariupol of the former Ukrainian boxer and referee Alexei Kupyrev, President of the Boxing Federation of Ukraine Volodymyr Prodivus warmly greeted Russian Umar Kremlev, who heads the International Boxing Association (IBA).

At the end of the first day of the IBA Congress, which takes place in Istanbul, the Kremlin began to distribute awards to representatives of national federations.

The Ukrainian Prodivus did not remain without distinction either..

The video from the solemn event shows how, while receiving the award, a pleased Prodivus shook hands with the Kremlin, and also gave himself a pat on the back.

Recall that the ethics committee recommended that the Russian Boxing Federation be removed from the Congress, but the IBA did not do this.. In early March, the IBA tried to remove Kremlev from the post of president of the organization, but the issue was never put to a vote.
