Denis Dubrov, the Ukrainian champion of the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo, died at the age of 33.

Denis Dubrov is an 11-time winner of the Summer Paralympic Games. He has four gold medals - he won one of the victories at the last Paralympics 2020 in Tokyo.

The swimmer was a master of sports of Ukraine of international class. On account of his titles and medals at the European Championship 2014, the World Championship 2015 and the European Championship 2016. Dubrov remains the champion of Ukraine at a distance of 200 meters individual swimming.

In 2016, the athlete was awarded the Order of Merit, III degree.
