The Ukrainian national team continues to successfully perform at the Deaflympiad in the Brazilian Caxias do Sul.

According to the results of the seventh day of competition, the Ukrainian team won 13 medals - eight gold medals, one silver and four bronze medals.

Ukrainians won awards in road cycling, orienteering, bullet shooting, shot put, relay race, table tennis, swimming, heptathlon and taekwondo.

In the medal standings, Ukraine continues to lead by a huge margin:.

Ukraine - 77 medals (39-16-22).

USA - 34 (14-4-16).

Japan - 24 (10-6-8).

Deaflympiad - competition among people with hearing impairment. Ukraine in Brazil is represented by 170 athletes in 16 sports.
