The titled Russian figure skater Evgeni Plushenko organized a propaganda ice show, in which other figure skaters from the Russian Federation took part.

Plushenko supported the president of the aggressor country Vladimir Putin over a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. He put on a show in the Russian city of Tula. Of course, this was not without propaganda.. On the invitations prepared by the organizers, the letter " A number of well-known Russian figure skaters volunteered to participate in this action, including Mark Kondratyuk, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, Alexandra Stepanova, Ivan Bukin. However, after the end of the show, some skaters expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the event turned out to be openly propaganda..

“I really wanted to believe that sport is out of politics, but today it turned out not to be so.. I love figure skating, I sincerely love what I do - I live it. I want to participate in competitions, I want to put on new programs, participate in ice shows. But I don’t want the performances of athletes to become a way of manipulation,"

As previously reported, the Russian gymnast went to Putin's rally in Luzhniki with someone else's medal: he was ridiculed on the Web.
