Four-time Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel expressed support for the Ukrainian people, who fell victim to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

The 34-year-old German in an interview with Sky Sport called on Formula 1 to provide financial assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war with Russian invaders..

" To provide people with this, you need money.. Formula 1 makes a lot of money. We must do our best to help people in need and try to think of ways we can raise money..

It's absolutely terrible to see what's going on.. It's shocking when you turn on the news. You think that nothing can shock you more, but it happens every time.. Innocent people are being killed,"

Note that Vettel was the first among the Formula 1 pilots who announced that they would boycott the Russian Grand Prix because of the Russian war against Ukraine.. He also decided to perform in the new season in a helmet painted in the colors of the Ukrainian flag..
