The International Football Federation (FIFA) has approved the calendar for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Host Qatar will not play in the opening match. The first match of the final part of the World Cup will be the meeting of Senegal and the Netherlands in Doha on November 21. Start - at 13:00.

The Ukrainian national team has yet to play in the play-offs for the right to play at the World Championships. Ukrainians will meet with Scotland in the semi-final of the playoffs, and with Wales in the final.

If the team of Alexander Petrakov defeats both opponents, he will play in group B with England, Iran and the USA. In the first round, Ukrainians can play with the American team in Er Rayyan on November 21.
