President of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) Andriy Pavelko said that he suggested that the UK consider submitting a joint application to host the World Cup.

The head of the UAF thanked British Prime Minister Boris Johnson for his proposal to host the 2028 European Football Championship in Ukraine. Pavelko assured that after the victory over the Russian occupiers, Ukraine, together with the UK, will be able to host the World Cup at the highest level.

\? On behalf of the entire football community of our state, I thank British Prime Minister Boris Johnson for such a wonderful initiative! Unlike fascist Russia's bid to host this tournament, Johnson's idea is absolutely logical and justified.!

Our state has already hosted the matches of the final part of the continental championship in 2012. Therefore, I suggest that our British friends consider the possibility of submitting a joint application for hosting the final part of the World Championship in Ukraine and Great Britain.

I think that President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will support such an idea and contribute to its implementation. I am sure that after the victory over fascist Russia and the restoration of the Ukrainian football infrastructure, we will be able to hold such competitions at the highest level together with the UK! Glory to the heroes! Glory to Ukraine," We add that the 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar, and the 2026 World Cup will be hosted by three countries at once - Canada, Mexico and the USA. Thus, Ukraine and the UK can claim to host the 2030 World Cup.
