On the night of March 19, Ukrainian boxer Oleg Dovgun defended his title of champion of North America, defeating the Belgian with Armenian roots Geram Eloyan.

After the end of the battle, Dovgun thanked the Ukrainians for coming to support him, and also decided to dedicate this victory to the Ukrainian people, who are now defending their land from Russian invaders.

Oleg noted that he would donate part of the fee for the championship fight to the needs of Ukraine.

\? It's hard. I try to block out in my mind what is happening in my country but I think about it all the time. I want to win and make people happy for just one night. I fight for the Ukrainian people, for our freedom. I will donate part of the money from my fee for the fight to help Ukraine," Note that Dovgun remains invincible in the professional ring. He has 14 wins in 14 fights.. His opponent Eloyan suffered the third defeat in his career.
