The semi-final of the European Futsal Championship 2022 took place in Amsterdam, in which the Ukrainian team met with Russia.

Wards of Oleksandr Kosenko lost with a score of 2:3.

The first two goals were scored by the Russians through the efforts of Sokolov and Afanasyev, but Siry quickly closed the gap before the break.

In the middle of the second half, the Russians scored the third goal, after which the Ukrainians almost constantly acted with the fifth field instead of the goalkeeper. Abakshin managed to close the gap again in the 35th minute, and in the very end Korsun earned a penalty.

The captain of the Ukrainian national team Shoturma approached the point, but failed to beat the Russian goalkeeper.
