On Sunday, January 9, at the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof, Germany, the men's pursuit race was held.

French biathlete Quentin Fillon Maillet won the race. The second was the Swede Sebastian Samuelson. Closed the top three with Tarja Be.

Bogdan Tsimbal became the best among Ukrainians, finishing 23rd. Compared to the sprint, he lost four positions. Almost immediately after him came Anton Dudchenko, who arrived 26th in exactly the position where he started.
